Discovered this historic and cozy Klosterbräustübchen on the way through. I had enjoyed a tasty dark beer and a monastery roast in beer sauce with a really great bread dumpling. I don't usually eat bread dumplings at all, but this one was especially tasty. In addition, the nice young waitress patiently explained to us some dishes that we were not so familiar with. If we drive through here again, we'll be happy to come back. I like to give 5 stars here.

Unfortunately, even on weekends when the weather is good and the beer garden is full and the restaurant is full, there is no continuous warm kitchen. Still 5 stars because it is nice and (if a hungry guest gets more than sausage salad) also super tasty. ?

The food is delicious, decent portions at very good prices. Also easy to reach thanks to the motorway and the beer garden is heavenly.

Quaint economy with large portions and moderate prices. Very friendly and courteous service. However, the staff does not seem willing to point out existing regulations to guests without a mask. As a guest, you feel uncomfortable when several other guests "wander around" in the guest room without mouth and nose protection. We therefore decided to forego a second drink and to leave the restaurant sooner than intended

Quality of German food. Portions are big and the environment is great to enjoy sitting outside or inside. I give this experience a 10/10

Lunch break on the way to Europapark, best decision. Very friendly staff and incredibly good food. Best chanterelles with dumplings for a long time and you need a real hunger for the bear schnitzel. We will definitely stop here on the way home.

Good beer, the menu had a more Baden-Württemberg feel to it. Food: Roast pork (still a bit firm to the bite) with strange spices (paprika powder? Chicken spice?), Salted bread dumplings and salad in floating sauce (à la Mensa).

First we had ordered drinks and instead of the ordered shandy came a beer. The lady said she would come right away to order the food, which then took 20 minutes. People who came after us could order in advance and had their food beforehand. Our food did not come together but was delayed by 10 minutes even though there were only two of us. One meal also came with the wrong side dish. With the second drink only one came up and we had to ask again where the second was. Not once did anyone come to ask if everything was ok or if there was anything else they wanted. The beer garden was half full it was during the week and there were 4 waitresses but they couldn't do anything - really nothing and were all overwhelmed - no organization - just amazing. If you don't believe it, have time and want to laugh, you should definitely go there. The second star anyway because our food tasted good. We will definitely go back to test whether the service is always so underground ...

Nice tavern with a nice outside area (some, non-Bavarians would call it a "beer garden"). The waitresses are very friendly. One point deduction, as the food was a bit salty and the beer was not optimally poured.

Very good home-style cooking with attentive service. We came from Stuttgart one Monday evening at 8 p.m. and were then pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent economy on the way home.

Great food, beer garden, and lots of room for large groups or events all year around. Very festive at Christmas time. Free parking and easy access. A historical site as well.
